2. Website hosting and custom domain

This website is hosted via GitHub Pages and uses a custom domain managed through Squarespace Domains. When you visit the website, technical data may be processed automatically in order to deliver the website, maintain stability and security, and ensure that the domain can be reached. This may include in particular your IP address, browser and device information, date and time of access, requested files/pages, and referrer information.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure, reliable, and technically correct provision of the website.

GitHub states that visitors' IP addresses to GitHub Pages are logged and stored for security purposes. GitHub may process personal data in the United States and other countries. According to GitHub's privacy statement, transfers from the EU/EEA are generally based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where no adequacy decision exists.

If you contact me by email, I process the data you provide in order to handle your request and any related correspondence.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request is related to pre-contractual measures or a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Spotify embed

This website includes a Spotify player that is not loaded automatically. Spotify content is only loaded after you actively click the button to open the player.

Once activated, data may be transmitted to Spotify, in particular your IP address, device and browser information, and information about the page visit. Spotify may also use cookies or similar technologies.

The legal basis for loading the Spotify embed is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. To the extent that information is stored on or accessed from your device, the legal basis is also § 25 TDDDG.

Spotify may also process personal data outside the EU/EEA. According to Spotify's privacy policy, international transfers may take place with appropriate safeguards.

5. SubmitHub widget and submission links

This website contains a SubmitHub widget and links to SubmitHub pages. The widget is not loaded automatically. SubmitHub content is only loaded after you actively click the button to open the widget.

Once activated, technical data such as your IP address, browser information, and the visited page may be transmitted to SubmitHub.

The legal basis for loading the widget is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. To the extent that information is stored on or accessed from your device, the legal basis is also § 25 TDDDG.
